Welcome to Fit and Fueled, a movement coaching and holistic nutrition practice dedicated to helping individuals lead healthy, energetic, and joyful lives. I'm Meryl Carey, the founder and movement coach with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Growing up in Scotland and living in various parts of the world, including Chile, the Middle East, and New Orleans, has given me a deep appreciation for diversity and the importance of cultural sensitivity.
As a movement coach, I've had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life, from world-class athletes to those struggling with chronic health issues. My passion for fitness began early in life, and my athletic background includes competing in gymnastics and powerlifting. Alongside my coaching, I've also battled my own health challenges, including Crohn's disease, which has given me a unique understanding of the struggles my clients may face.
