Our Story

Appleseed School & Daycare is managed and operated by Roxanne Gonsorowski, a passionate educator with extensive experience in educating preschool-aged children. Roxanne has a deep understanding of early childhood development and has spent her career dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Our Services

At Appleseed School & Daycare, we offer a unique in-home preschool experience that focuses on problem-solving, self-help, and decision-making. Our curriculum includes art, music, science, nature, manipulative toys, and outdoor play, designed to stimulate young minds and encourage creativity.

Our Schedule

Our daily schedule is carefully planned to provide a balance of structured and unstructured activities to cater to the needs of our children. From 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, our day is filled with:

• Arrival and self-directed activities
• Circle Time, featuring music, singing, and storytelling
• Snack Time, serving healthy and nutritious food and beverages
• Exploration, where children can engage in various activities such as dramatic play, sensory play, and literacy opportunities
• Outdoor Play, featuring a large play area with various activities such as a sandbox, playhouse, and climbing structure
• Teacher-Directed Activities, covering topics such as story time, writing, math, science, and art
• Lunch Time, providing a nutritious USDA-approved meal or allowing children to bring their own lunch
• Nap and Quiet Time, allowing children to rest and recharge
• Snack Time, featuring healthy snacks and beverages
• Literacy Time, focusing on storybooks, songs, and language games
• Free Choice and Departure Time, allowing parents to pick up their children at their convenience

Our Commitment
