Massage Spot PDX is a professional massage therapy center located in the heart of Portland, next to the Albina/Mississippi MAX station. Our mission is to provide expert bodywork that helps our clients achieve their health and wellness goals in a safe, compassionate, and efficient manner. We believe that a good massage is about more than just relaxation; it's about understanding the human body, listening to our clients' needs, and using the right techniques to improve their quality of life.

Our Approach

At Massage Spot PDX, we believe that every client is unique, and so are their needs. That's why we offer customized massage sessions tailored to our clients' specific goals. Our experienced therapists use a variety of modalities, including deep tissue, sports, trigger point, Swedish, structural release, myofascial release, and GTO releases, to create a unique massage experience that addresses each client's individual needs.

We understand that many people have anxiety about receiving massage, so we strive to create a soothing environment where our clients feel comfortable and safe. We always go over the session plan with our clients before starting the massage, ensuring they are comfortable with the plan and the pressure used. By respecting our clients' boundaries and using the right techniques, we create the best environment for healing and self-care.

Meet Our Founder

Aaron Hill, LMT #13951, is the founder and owner of Massage Spot PDX. With thousands of hours of experience as a massage therapist, Aaron has developed a unique style of massage that addresses his clients' personal goals in a methodical and efficient way. His own personal journey from an unhealthy and inactive lifestyle as a desk worker in a collections agency to an LMT and a self-proclaimed "gym nerd" who enjoys various active hobbies such as lifting, martial arts, and hiking, has given him a deep understanding of training recovery, injury recovery, pain management, and personal maintenance.

Aaron is passionate about learning how the body works and loves to share his knowledge with his clients. He believes that education is an essential part of the healing process and strives to educate his clients on how to better care for themselves in their daily lives.

COVID-19 Precautions

At Massage Spot PDX, we take the health and safety of our clients and employees seriously. We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and following the guidelines of the CDC to keep everyone safe. We have implemented additional precautions, including requiring our therapists to wear face masks for the duration of the pandemic, sanitizing and disinfecting the room frequently, washing arms/hands before and after each service, and respecting our clients' decisions on wearing masks or facial coverings. We also ask our clients to wash/sanitize their hands before coming into the office, stay at home if they are feeling sick, and maintain distance by limiting the number of clients in the office at a time.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services tailored to our clients' needs, including:

• Custom Massage: A personalized massage focused on the client's specific goal for the session.
• Cupping or Hot Stone Enhanced Massage: Experience ancient forms of alternative care with a modern twist. Cupping uses plastic cups to create a vacuum on the surface of the body, releasing facial restrictions, calming active trigger points, and improving blood flow. Hot stone massage uses smooth, heated stones to relax muscles, relieve pain, and promote deep relaxation.
