Counseling Hut

At the Counseling Hut, we are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals, couples, families, and groups to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Our team of licensed mental health professionals is committed to helping our clients achieve their personal and relational goals. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health services, regardless of their background, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or socioeconomic status.

Our Services

We offer individual, couple, family, and group counseling for adults, adolescents, and children. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, and we strive to create a warm and non-judgmental space for our clients to share their experiences. Some of the issues we address include:

• Relationships and communication difficulties
• Trauma and stress
• Identity exploration and self-discovery
• Grief and loss
• Mental health concerns such as ADHD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD

Our Facilities

Our office is located in an accessible building in the heart of Eugene, Oregon. We have wheelchair-accessible facilities and adaptive equipment to ensure that all clients can participate in counseling and access our services. We are committed to continuous improvement and welcome feedback from clients and the community on how we can better serve those with diverse needs.

Our Staff

Our team of licensed professionals is committed to providing compassionate and supportive services. Our staff includes:

• Jordan J. Shin, MS, LPC (Suite 318) - Jordan is a licensed professional counselor with expertise in individual, couple, and family therapy. She is also experienced in trauma-informed care and has a specialization in anxiety and depression.

Accessibility

At the Counseling Hut, we understand that every individual has unique needs. We strive to create an inclusive environment that is accessible to all. We have adaptive equipment on site, including a Braille embosser, TTY, reading glasses, and a T-coil neck-loop. We also offer large-print materials and translated documents in various formats.

Release of Information

If you would like to authorize the release of your treatment information, please fill out the Authorization for Release of Information form and mail or fax it to us. This form can also be used to request that others send their records to the Counseling Hut. We will exchange information in person, by phone, by fax, or by USPS first class mail in a way that protects your privacy.
