The company was established in the Fall of 1997 by its president, John Zona III, AIA, who is known for his outstanding design talents and eloquent communication skills. With nearly two dozen design recognition awards under its belt, Zona Architecture has proven itself to be a leader in the industry.

Our firm's approach is based on the "Master Builder" concept, which was used to deliver monumental projects such as the Great Pyramids at Giza and the Parthenon in Ancient Greece. This theory brings together the owner, architect, and builder, enabling us to solve problems creatively and efficiently. Our goal is to provide our clients with solutions that are not only visually appealing but also functional and economical.

Our Story

Zona Architecture, formerly known as Zona & Associates, was founded by John Zona III, AIA, in the Fall of 1997. John has been recognized for his exceptional design talents and has received nearly two dozen design recognition awards in the company's name. He is also known for his articulate communication skills, making him an invaluable asset to the firm.

Awards

Zona Architecture has received numerous awards for its exceptional design work. John Zona III has been recognized as an outstanding design talent and has received nearly two dozen design recognition awards in the company's name. One of our most notable projects, Mandi's Chapel, won the Prestigious 2017 International Property Development Award for Best Residential Property in the World, hosted at The Savoy Hotel in London, England. The project was also awarded the Five-Star Award within the Property Single Unity category at the USA & Americas Property Awards 2017-2018.

Sun Serenity, another one of our notable projects, was shortlisted for the 2017 Governor's Award for Design and Construction Excellence. These awards are a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional design work that meets the needs of our clients.
