The History of Fitness Club Merritt Island

Established in 2003, Fitness Club Merritt Island was originally known as Island Fitness of Brevard. Over the years, we have undergone several improvements and transitions, including moving to a larger facility and rebranding as "Fitness Club MI." We are proud to be locally owned and operated, with a long-standing commitment to our loyal following.

Our Facility and Equipment

Our 21,000 sq ft facility is equipped with state-of-the-art Life Fitness Equipment and Hammer Strength Circuit Training machines. We offer over 40 group fitness classes to keep your workouts enjoyable and challenging. Our turf area is perfect for cross-fit training, and our saunas and showers provide the perfect finishing touch to your visit.

We take pride in the cleanliness of our facilities and offer convenient amenities such as Personal Trainers for Hire, Fitness Level Esthetics, Child Care, and more. Our staffed hours are as follows:

• MONDAY-THURSDAY: 8:00am-7:30pm
• FRIDAY: 8:00am-6:00pm
• SATURDAY & SUNDAY: 8:00am-4:00pm

• First Responder and Student Rate: $44.00/mo ACH Discount

We also offer additional membership options, including an insurance program and group classes for an additional $20 per month.

Group Classes

We are excited to offer a variety of 20 group classes to choose from! Whether you're into cardio, strength training, yoga, or something in between, we've got you covered. 24-Hour Access and Free WiFi

We offer 24-hour access to our World Class Facility when you join, giving you the flexibility to work out on your own schedule. Our WiFi is available in every corner of every club, allowing you to stream your favorite music or video while you work out. Our facility is monitored and recorded via dozens of closed caption security system cameras, ensuring your safety at all times.

Largest Gym in Brevard

We are proud to offer Brevard County's Largest Free Weights Section, with a personal training room for semi-private training sessions. Our members enjoy the convenience of on-site child care and the option to add group classes for an additional $20 per month.
