Good Shepherd Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers is a non-profit organization that provides informal volunteer caregiving to home-based aging or disabled Jefferson County residents of all ages. Our mission is to promote independence, dignity, security and quality of life for seniors and disabled individuals through the use of volunteers. We offer a range of services, including transportation to and from medical and non-medical appointments, friendly visits and wellness calls, and can assist with daily tasks and errands. Our goal is to enrich lives and enhance living for our clients, as well as support their families. By providing these services, we aim to help our clients maintain their independence and continue to thrive in their own homes. Our services are funded by donations from neighbors like you, and we rely on the generosity of our community to continue our mission.
