Couples therapy is designed to help couples improve their communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationship. We will work with you and your partner to identify the patterns of interaction that are causing difficulties and explore new ways of interacting that can help you build a stronger, more satisfying relationship.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a type of therapy that involves the entire family system. We will work with you and your family members to identify and address the patterns of interaction that are causing difficulties and explore new ways of interacting that can help you build a stronger, more connected family.

First Responders

We have specialized training and experience in working with first responders, including firefighters, police, and military personnel. We understand the unique challenges that these individuals face and are committed to providing support and guidance through the challenges that they and their families may encounter.

About Dr. Beth Murphy

Dr. Beth Murphy is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in individual, couples, and family therapy. She has over 8 years of experience working with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families with diverse issues and needs. She has a doctorate in clinical psychology from Argosy University, Seattle, and has completed specialized training in areas such as critical incident stress debriefing and defusing (CISD), and disaster mental health. In addition to her work as a therapist, Dr. Murphy has presented at national conferences and to general audiences speaking on topics such as traumatic stress, suicide and mental illness in first responders, and effects of discrimination and harassment.

At our practice, we take an integrative, person-centered approach to therapy. We believe that each individual is unique and that therapy should be tailored to meet their specific needs. We incorporate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach that is tailored to each client and their unique life experiences. We work with compassion and acceptance, and provide appropriate feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.
