We are thrilled to share our story with you and invite you to be a part of our vibrant community. Our mission is to prepare an outstanding Montessori environment that fosters collaboration, cooperation, and peace, providing experiences that promote curiosity, inquiry, and concentration. This enables each child to reach their highest potential academically, spiritually, and socially.

Our Programs

At Montessori Footprints Learning Center, we offer a range of programs designed to cater to different age groups and learning needs.

• Toddler Room: In the Toddler program, we establish clear and consistent boundaries that show respect for children and their needs. Respect for self, others, and the environment are of utmost importance.
• Pre-Primary Program: The practical life curriculum in the pre-primary class encourages the child to refine their grace and courtesy, self-help, and care of the environment skills.
• Transitional Primary Program: Learn more about the Transitional Primary Program.
• Primary Classes: In this mixed age environment, children spend two years in the same class, enabling them to get to know their classmates and teachers well. The continuity of returning to the same room each year makes for a strong classroom community for children and parents alike.
• Extended Day Care: Our Extended Day Care program is designed to provide a comfortable and engaging environment for children who need additional care outside of regular school hours.
• Summer Classes: Our Summer Classes offer a unique opportunity for children to continue learning and growing in a fun and interactive way during the summer break.

Our Goals

The goals of our learning center can be subdivided into three conceptual categories: spiritual, intellectual, and social.

• Intellectual: To lead children towards the mastery of daily life skills, to foster student-initiated inquiry, to nourish a child's innate joy in learning and a love of work, to develop graceful movement and muscular control, and to present an individualized program that encourages children to think, question, and discover through hands-on exploration with self-correcting materials.
• Spiritual: To help the child develop spontaneous self-discipline, to instill in each child a sense of personal responsibility for the world in which we live, to spark in our children wonder, imagination, and joy, and to promote an atmosphere that celebrates diversity, inspires compassion, and develops the potential in every human being.
• Social: To develop poise, grace, and self-confidence, to provide a safe, nurturing environment that fosters independent and cooperative learning, embraces strengths as well as weaknesses, and builds self-esteem, and to form a warm, welcoming partnership among educators, parents, and students, whose goal is to cultivate confident, knowledgeable, and empathetic leaders.
