We believe that exercise is an activity that should be enjoyable by everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. To that end, our unique approach to individual wellbeing is built around the understanding that individuals' specific areas of need evolve over time and treatment. We recognize that a combination of synergistic therapies often provides the greatest benefit, and we strive to continually assess and target individual goals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Our Services
At i2 Wellness Center, we offer a range of services designed to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. Our services include:
- Kids Athletic Training: We work with children to ensure and maintain a balanced, optimally functioning and maturing physical facility. Our approach emphasizes flexibility and core/stabilization training, utilizing the same modalities used with adults, but making age-appropriate modifications.
- Performance Training: Our personal training programs are based on weight-bearing (resistance) exercise, which improves muscle strength, increases bone density, and maintains lean body tissue, thereby aiding metabolism and weight management.
- GYROTONIC: Our GYROTONIC exercises are designed to increase coordination, strength, and range of motion. This modality is based on spinal articulation and energetics, which positively affect myofascial release, mobility, flexibility, and increased joint health and space.
- Pilates: Our Pilates training system focuses on proper joint alignment and biomechanical function. It emphasizes flexibility, spinal elongation, and core muscle strength. Our specially designed spring resistance-based equipment or specialized mat exercises develop core and full body strength.
- Personal Training: Our personal training programs employ systemic programs based on weight-bearing (resistance) exercise. This not only improves muscle strength but also increases bone density, maintains lean body tissue, and thereby aids metabolism and weight management.
About TJ Maheras
TJ Maheras, the founder of i2 Wellness Center, has over 25 years of personal experience in the fields of dance, fitness, and nutrition. With a professional ballet career spanning 20 years, Mr. Maheras earned advanced degrees in nutrition and exercise biochemistry/physiology from Arizona State University. His research on dance physiology and his publishing and lecturing on the subject have earned him recognition in his field. As a certified personal trainer (NASM) and GYROTONIC instructor, Mr. Maheras is uniquely qualified to instruct a wide demographic in several training modalities.
Rates
We offer private, one-on-one sessions in 1-hour increments. Our introductory session is free, and thereafter, our rates are as follows:
- $88 for a single 1-hour session
- $69 per session for a package of 12 for $828
- $67 per session when you purchase 24 sessions for $1,608 (save 23% off standard pricing)
Please note that all sessions are private and one-on-one. Multi-packs are non-refundable and have a 1-year expiration. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all sessions.
