They reported that the agency sent HHAs (Home Health Care Aides) to provide care instead of CNAs (Certified Nurse Assistants), without obtaining their consent. The HHAs spoke little English and had limited healthcare experience. Some HHAs did not show up for work or were late, and one even showed up with a spouse at the family member's front door with personal information on their cell phone, violating HIPAA. The care provided was inconsistent and unreliable.
