Our Story
At Bistro Boudin, we proudly represent classic San Francisco traditions through our outstanding cuisine, service excellence, regional wine favorites, and legendary sourdough bread. Our full-service restaurant in Fisherman's Wharf offers some of the best bay views in the city, with panoramic sights of Alcatraz, Angel Island, and Marin.
Our History
It all started with the mother dough. In 1849, Isidore Boudin struck gold with four simple ingredients: flour, water, salt, and mother dough. This vision of innovation and simplicity has been passed down through generations, shaping our identity and the flavors that fill our bakery. See how San Francisco's history is baked into every bite.
Our Cuisine
Our culinary team is dedicated to enhancing the true nature of the ingredients we use. We work closely with our purveyors to source fresh products from local farms and ranches whenever possible. We believe in sustainable practices and support vendors who utilize these principles. Our chefs have partnered with distributors who support small family farms and fisheries, helping to ensure the highest quality meats and seafood available.
