Our Humble Beginnings

The story of Ray's Seafood Restaurant begins in the early 1950s when Mrs. Parker and her son Ray opened a humble lobster pound. Their passion for fresh seafood and dedication to customer satisfaction quickly earned them a loyal following. As their business grew, they built a small clam shack, aptly named "Ray's Seafood, " offering a casual dining experience.

Evolution and Growth

In 1961, the Parkers expanded their operation, converting their home on Ocean Boulevard into a full-service restaurant. This marked a significant milestone for Ray's Seafood Restaurant, establishing it as a premier seafood dining destination in the area.

Following Ray's passing in 1973, the legacy was passed on to Aura and John Widen. They nurtured the restaurant and established its reputation for exceptional seafood and warm hospitality.

A New Chapter

In 1986, their son Andy Widen realized his dream of rebuilding the restaurant, adding a modern twist while preserving the essence of the original clam shack. He meticulously expanded the dining space, offering breathtaking oceanfront views.

Generation to Generation

Today, Ray's Seafood Restaurant remains a family-run establishment, with the Widen family and their dedicated staff continuing to uphold the tradition of quality and warmth.
