At Good Food, we've been dedicated to serving healthy, balanced meals to daycares and preschools in the DC Metro Area for over 40 years. Our family-owned business has been built on a passion for providing nutritious meals that kids love. We believe in the importance of a healthy diet in early childhood development, and we're committed to making it easy for parents and caregivers to provide their little ones with the fuel they need to thrive.
Our Story
Our journey began in 1979 when a teacher started Good Food as a small catering company. Our mother, who was also a teacher, was instrumental in the company's early years. She believed that children deserve to eat well, just like her own family did. With the help of her four kids, who grew up helping out in the business, we've grown into a third-generation family enterprise. Over the years, we've made it our mission to serve fresh, made-from-scratch meals to daycares and preschools in the DC Metro Area.
Our Philosophy
At Good Food, we understand the importance of a clean kitchen. We take pride in maintaining a spotless environment to ensure the safety and quality of our meals. Additionally, we recognize the significance of introducing children to a variety of flavors and textures, which is why we strive to include a range of options in our meals.
