At Iron + Mettle, we're a strength training gym made for women, located in Noe Valley and near Mission/Bernal Heights, San Francisco. Our passion is helping women prioritize their strength, both inside and outside the gym. We don't believe in fad diets or taking exercise to the extremes. Instead, we use a science-backed approach to teach you the ins and outs of lifting weights, which is effective, empowering, and wildly fun. Our community is a group of badass women (and those identifying as) who celebrate one another's strength.

Our mission is to help women in San Francisco prioritize their strength, develop the lasting results they desire, and love the way they move. We believe our clients deserve more than just diets and never-ending cardio. Our proven strength and conditioning program incorporates both weight training and aerobic conditioning in a fun and sustainable way.

Our Training Model

We offer two types of training: semi-private group training classes and 1:1 personal training. Our semi-private group training classes are designed to provide a personalized experience in a small group setting, while our 1:1 personal training provides a customized training program tailored to your specific goals and needs. Our expert coaches will guide you every step of the way, helping you achieve your fitness goals and celebrate your successes.
