At Southtowns MMA and Fitness Center, we have been creating a judgement-free atmosphere since 2009. We base our sessions and classes on clients' needs and abilities for an effective workout. It doesn't matter if you have never worked out before or are just ready to start something new, all experience levels are welcome! Our focus is fitness and self-defense; not to use these tactics to harm others. When training for a fight, these tactics are only to be used in the octagon or in a gym setting.

Our Services

We offer a variety of classes and services to help you achieve your fitness goals. Our services include Adult Stand Up/Striking classes, which focus on kickboxing, Muay Thai, and striking techniques. We also offer Women's Strike It Fit classes, which combines cardio kickboxing, aerobic exercise, and light weight lifting for a fun and effective workout. For those interested in ground tactics, we offer Men's Ground Class, which focuses on Ju Jitsu and submissions. We also offer Personal Training sessions with our experienced instructors, as well as Power Vinyasa Yoga classes to help you relax and rejuvenate.

Meet Our Team

Our team of experienced instructors and trainers are dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals. Meet Joe Duffy, our owner and head instructor, who has been training in martial arts for over 30 years. Jen Duffy, our owner and women's instructor, specializes in boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai. Brandon Hunt, our owner and trainer, has experience in ground tactics and stand-up game. Our other instructors, Jill Hintz, Michele Hintermeier-Kmitch, and Primo Luciano, each bring their unique skills and experience to the gym.

What We Teach

At Southtowns MMA and Fitness Center, we teach a variety of techniques and disciplines, including kickboxing, Muay Thai, Ju Jitsu, and ground tactics. We also offer Women's Self-Defense classes and seminars, as well as Muay Thai seminars. Our focus is on fitness and self-defense, and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment for all our clients.
